I’ve been making clothes out from partly damaged japanese traditional Kimono for 2 years. Fascinated to the beautiful patterns of thoes fabrics.
Now, It’s not like I’m tired of kimono fabric but I started to feel like I’d like to use “normal” fabrics, too. So from now on, I’m going to use leftover kimonos for a part of the clothes.

I love sewing but for some reason I was not very keen on making face masks when they are tons of patterns online right now.
I’m now in the middle of 2 week self-isolation because I visited UK (that’s the rule in Japan).
I can’t go out if it’s not necessary, I decided to do a major housecleaning and found some scrap of clothes, and thought, okay maybe it’s a time to make my own face maskes.

I’ve tried some of the patterns but they didn’t look okay on my face (let’s forget that I don’t have a pretty face). After many attempts, I think I custom-made my own face mask.
